VOICE100 (2018)

Call for Voices

VOICE100 is a project I am developing to celebrate girls and women, 100 years since women were first granted the right to vote. 

My team and I are looking for 100 children and adults of any gender to contribute words or phrases that celebrate girls, women and equality. Words and phrases will be decided by you, and we will record you saying them at a recording studio in Ramsgate from December 2017-January 2018. Individuals and large groups are welcome. If you are unable to attend a recording in Ramsgate, or are a larger group, we can visit you to undertake the recording. We are keen to visit youth clubs, scout and guide groups, residential homes and schools to undertake recordings. We are also looking to interview elderly people who have memories of family members that were involved in the suffragette movement. To register your interest, or for more information:
